GRAN VÍA Y CALLAO,

LUXURY SCENARIOS FOR MADRID CRITERIUM

The commitment to bring cycling stars closer to the heart of the capital is even greater in this second edition, with a route that slightly exceeds the kilometer in length, which will run entirely along Gran Vía, placing the departure and arrival arch next to the iconic Plaza del Callao. In this way, the runners will begin each lap in the direction of Calle Alcalá, making a 180 degree turn right at the height of Fuencarral. From there, they will return in the opposite direction until reaching another sharp curve at the intersection with San Bernardo, before facing the final stretch to the finish line.

ROUTE

The circuit, free access from any of the multiple streets that lead to Gran Vía, will have a wide range of facilities so that all spectators can enjoy the race from different points of the layout.
The nerve center will be located in the Plaza del Callao, where the will be. different areas enabled for cyclists, VIP guests, media and spaces for complementary activities of MADRID CRITERIUM. The awards ceremony will also take place at that location.
